At the MASTS Annual Science Meeting in Glasgow, I presented “Multiple Stressors Unlocking Marine Microbial Dynamics: Metaproteomic Approaches to Tackle Global Pollution.” The talk drew on two case studies — the Deepwater Horizon oil spill and marine plastic pollution — to show how metaproteomics reveals microbial regulation and adaptation, offering new approaches to tackle pollution and multiple stressors.
